These terms apply to the use of timbfras.org and to the purchase of tickets for the TIMBFRAS congress (12–14 March 2027) and the Cadaver Course (11 March 2027), both held in Timișoara, Romania, and organised by TIMBFRAS CONFERENCES & EVENTS S.R.L. (“TIMBFRAS”, “we”). By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms, the Cancellation & refund policy and the Privacy policy.
1. Who can attend
TIMBFRAS is a scientific event for physicians, residents and other healthcare professionals. Live surgery and cadaveric dissection content is not suitable for the general public. Resident tickets are reserved for physicians in residency training; we may ask for proof of resident status at registration or at the entrance, and a holder who cannot provide it will be asked to pay the difference to the Doctor ticket price.
2. Tickets and prices
- Ticket prices are displayed in euro (EUR). A card processing fee, shown as a separate line, is added to every order at checkout, before payment, and appears on the invoice. TIMBFRAS CONFERENCES & EVENTS S.R.L. is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
- Payment is charged in Romanian lei (RON), converted at the EUR exchange rate published by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) on the day of the order. The exact RON amount is shown before you pay. Your bank may apply its own conversion if your card is not in RON.
- Congress ticket prices depend on the date of purchase: Early Bird until 6 December 2026, 23:59; Regular from 7 December 2026 until 10 March 2027, 23:59; On-site from 11 March 2027. Times are Romanian time (EET).
- A congress ticket includes access to all three congress days, both scientific stages, the live surgery sessions, the cadaveric dissection broadcast, lunches and coffee breaks. It does not include hands-on participation in the Cadaver Course, travel or accommodation.
- The Special Early Bird Residents Group Ticket covers exactly 10 residents, registered and paid together in a single order, during the Early Bird period only.
- The Cadaver Course (hands-on) requires a separate ticket, has 6 places, and registration closes on 7 December 2026, 23:59, or earlier when all places are booked.
- Places are confirmed only after payment is completed. An unpaid order expires after 30 minutes and the places are released.
3. Ordering and payment
You choose the tickets, enter the details of each attendee and the billing details, then pay by card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) on the secure Stripe payment page. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. You then receive by email the order confirmation with the ticket details and the invoice.
4. Invoices
An invoice in Romanian, in RON, is issued automatically after payment, for the person or company entered in the billing details, and sent by email. It is also transmitted to the national e-Factura system as required by law. Billing details cannot be changed once the invoice has been issued, except by cancelling and reissuing it where the law allows.
5. Tickets are personal
Each ticket is issued in the name of one attendee and gives access to that person only, together with the badge received at registration. Attendees are checked against the registration list at the entrance. Reselling tickets for profit is not allowed.
6. Right of withdrawal
Because the congress and the course take place on specific dates, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply (Art. 16 letter l of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014). Tickets are non-refundable, as set out in our Cancellation & refund policy.
7. Programme changes
We make every effort to deliver the programme as announced. Session times, rooms, live surgery cases and speakers may change for medical, logistical or other reasons beyond our control; such changes do not give a right to a refund.
8. Conduct, recording and confidentiality
- Attendees must behave professionally and follow the instructions of the organisers and the venue.
- Recording, photographing or streaming live surgery, cadaveric dissection or lectures is strictly forbidden, out of respect for patients, donors and speakers’ rights. Any material shown at the congress may not be reproduced without the author’s permission.
- We may refuse access or remove, without refund, any person who breaks these rules or endangers others.
- Cadaver Course participants must follow the laboratory safety rules and the instructions of the faculty. Anatomical specimens are treated with respect at all times.
9. Photos and video
The event is photographed and filmed. Details, and how to object, are in the Privacy policy.
10. Bright Talent
Abstracts must be original work of the authors, in English, and submitted by 28 February 2027. All presenters in Bright Talent must purchase a ticket. By submitting, authors confirm that they have the right to present the work and that any patient images are used with consent and anonymised. The scientific committee’s decisions are final.
11. Liability
The content of the congress is educational and reflects the views of the speakers; it does not replace individual medical judgement. TIMBFRAS is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended, nor for travel and accommodation arranged by attendees. Our liability towards an attendee is limited to the amount paid for that attendee’s ticket, except where the law does not allow such a limitation.
12. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failing to perform its obligations due to force majeure or events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions or venue closure.
13. Intellectual property
The TIMBFRAS name and logo, the website content, photos and texts belong to TIMBFRAS or to their authors and may not be reused without permission.
14. Complaints and disputes
Please send any complaint to timbfras@gmail.com; we answer within 30 days. If we cannot reach an agreement, consumers may use the alternative dispute resolution procedure of the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro, or address the competent Romanian courts. These terms are governed by Romanian law.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. The version accepted at the time of your order applies to that order.
